Small Doses of Sanity

You may have already seen this in catalana's journal, but we've decided to postpone the release of her and my albums (Hello, Stranger and Falling Toward Orion) until Confusion, shortly after the first of the year. We reached the conclusion that rushing to finish wasn't going to do either album any favors, as recording is -- not surprisingly! -- going a bit slower than we'd hoped.

We may do a pre-release at GAFilk, but that's subject to a bit of negotiation that's not yet completed.

Depending on the state of tarkrai's album, Wanderer, we may release three albums at Confusion this year. But I expect to hear more about that tonight and tomorrow.

Filking Tonight

Doug has given me leave to take off from work a bit early to get the place beaten into shape for tonight's housefilk. Along the way, I've got to pick up another replacement bulb for my right rear turn signal, since the first replacement bulb failed within two clicks of installation. *sigh*
