Stardust Returned
Jan. 15th, 2006 09:46 pmVia Instapundit, the Stardust mission successfully landed the return capsule on Earth, carrying samples collected from the tail of Comet Wild 2. The previous Genesis mission had the return capsule crack open on landing, which limited the usefulness of the samples.

Counting Things
Jan. 15th, 2006 10:51 pmOk, that's more like it. I've counted up the closing inventory for the manufactured tapes and CDs and entered it in the tax spreadsheet, along with the closing inventory for the items we've purchased (except for the songbooks, where there are some more items we still need to count out in the garage).
In interesting numbers so far, we sold $672 worth of CDs through CD Baby. We have a little over $1000 in purchased tape inventory, but the CDs have ballooned to nearly $8000. The items we've manufactured are worth about $13,000 at cost.
And we'll mark our 20th anniversary as filthy hucksters at ConClave this October.
