Minor Construction Projects

daisy_knotwise and I built some display shelving for The Secret Empire CD display some years ago, using some white kitchen grid, tie racks, and a bit of ingenuity. A few years ago, I decided we needed more shelving, but since we couldn't get the kitchen grid any more (discontinued), I ended up buying some larger gridwall pieces and a bunch of commercial shelves that just weren't quite right for what we needed. And there the project stalled.

Today, we went out and bought a bunch more tie racks to hang on the new gridwall. Now we just have to put it all together. And when we're done, we should have just over twice as many rack spaces as we do now for display.

Given the way the CD market has exploded, this is a good thing.
