The aforementioned guitar is a mahogany-topped Baby Taylor that I got for the upcoming vacation cruise as being far more manageable on the plane and ship than any of my full-sized guitars. Although I'm not big on naming my possessions, Gretchen has promptly dubbed this one "Sweet Baby James".

Now, that just doesn't happen around here.

Apparently, there's one heck of a solar flare hitting this hemisphere, because the aurora is visible and bright overhead in the Chicago suburbs right now. And we're pretty far south.
