Surprise, Surprise, Surprise!
Oct. 20th, 2004 11:23 pmOk, that's not what I expected. The Red Sox come back from down 3 games to 0 to beat the Yankees in game 7 of the ALCS and advance to the World Series, doing what no baseball team has done before.
Meanwhile, while I despaired of the Cards chances when Izzy gave up the tying run in the ninth today, Edwards woke up and hit a walk-off homerun in extra innings, so the Cards have one last chance to beat the Astros and go to the World Series themselves.
I'll keep my fingers crossed.
