Back From Worldcon
Sep. 8th, 2004 08:56 pmWe drove back from Boston in good time, stopping in eastern Pennsylvania on Labor Day and making it home by 10 PM last night. Today was back to work, about which more later.
But the con was a good time. Columbus lost the 2007 Worldcon bid, which was a shame, but put on a much better showing than many had anticipated. We'll see what happens next there. (I only know that it won't be a NASFiC bid.)
I saw a number of friends, including
ladyat and
bedlamhouse, did less singing than I might have hoped, but a lot of talking.
And I broke two chairs before the weekend was over. *sigh*
I may have a more complete report later.
