My Brain Hurts
Jun. 24th, 2004 05:20 pmWe'd originally been scheduled for meetings at work all afternoon and much of tomorrow, but they fell through, so I got to do more coding work on my current project. Unfortunately, we haven't quite finished defining all of the calculations that I'm currently coding and I'm getting a severe brain cramp trying to figure out exactly how to make everything calculate in the right order without eating too many CPU cycles.
I'm reminded of a fellow (fortunately no longer with our company) who once wrote in a design under the "Calculations" section: "Calculations are not defined here, but should be easy."
Of course, all things are easy when someone else is doing them. And I understand that a mauve database has the most RAM...
