No, not what you're thinking of.
My company is running their major user meeting of the year, Solutions 2004, in Chicago this year. This week. Starting tonight, running into Wednesday.
So I'll be driving back and forth to the Loop for the next few days, because there's just no other good way to do it. Have I mentioned how much I hate driving to the Loop? :)
Wish me luck.
In other news, I sold my tickets to today's Cubs game to a friend, since I decided not to try to head down to the Loop after the game. I was almost thankful when the Mets broke up Clement's no-hitter in the 7th inning, because I've always wanted to see a no-hitter and would have been really annoyed had I missed one in a game that I had tickets for.
(I've seen a few good runs at no-nos, but none that made it as far as the 9th. I did see Trachsel throw a one-hitter where he gave up a hit to the first batter he faced; then no hits for the next 27 outs. But that doesn't count...)
