Some Days You Get Rained Out

And rained out would have been a good choice for the Cubs today, as they gave up five runs in the first inning on the way to a 7-4 loss to Brewers. It was really, really cold at the old ballpark today, as the game time temperature was forty degrees with a stiff wind.

It was looking at that wind chill that led me to cancel my plan to go to the game tonight, because it would have made my sore back extremely unhappy. We'll see if the back is doing better in the morning than the Cubs were tonight.

(It wouldn't take a lot.)

You must be feeling pretty rotten. I *really* hope your back feels better soon.

I do not feel terrible, but I'm trying to treat my back gently so that what I think is a mild strain doesn't turn into something more debilitating. :) Basically, I twisted while bent over at the waist and I think that I just strained the muscle on one side. As long as I don't twist it again, it's not bad.

It just requires thinking about.
