There's a Monster In My Bed
Mar. 21st, 2012 11:46 pmActually, there's a monster in Katie's bed. Or so I'm told.
Most nights after Katie finally crawls into bed, she asks me to fill her water bottle. When I return with the full bottle, Katie is invisible under the covers.
"Where's Katie?" I ask. "What am I supposed to do with this water bottle?"
A low growl comes from underneath the covers.
"Oh, my! A monster has eaten Katie! Come, monster, spit Katie up."
Massive tickling of the monster ensues with adlibbed dialog until I finally pull the covers back and reveal Katie's head, now that she has been spit up by the monster in her bed.

Date: 2012-03-22 12:52 pm (UTC)I just thought I'd mention: you have a fantastic, fascinating capacity to post just after I go to bed. No matter how late or early I turn in. If you should ever have reason to wonder whether I'm still up, ask yourself: "Have I posted to LJ this evening yet? Or, was I just about to?" If yes, then I'm not.
