The vast majority of the packages are wrapped and under the tree, save for what Santa will bring. [livejournal.com profile] whl is with us recuperating after surgery and has been tucked off to his bed, slightly ahead of Katie and Julie. (But only slightly.)

And then [livejournal.com profile] daisy_knotwise and I will finish the preparations downstairs.

Merry Christmas everyone! (And if Christmas is not your holiday of choice, have a wonderful day.)

Good to hear that WHL is in good hands. Merry Christmas from Peoria. And to all, a good night.

My gall bladder has just been removed (it was full of stones, had blocked a bile duct, and started a war between my body and my pancreas), although they ended up having to convert from laproscopic to regular procedure; I'm going to have one of those scars.

Glad to hear you are in good shape following your heart attack; we're none of us as young as we once were...

(Quote function seems to be broken, at least on my computer.) Join the club on having one of those scars, although mine was because it was done in the pre-laproscopic era. The key thing is that the gallbladder and it's nasty contents have been removed and things will hopefully get better quickly from here on out.

My wife and my mother have both had their gall bladder out too, and my mother had laproscopic issues and needed a regular incision as well. Take your time to recover, I know that takes longer.
