Turn, Turn, Turn

I went to the basement to try to put the new capstan belt on the eight-track recorder and failed dismally, as the screws that I needed to remove stubbornly refused to budge. I ended up pinging dave_ifversen for help and he's kindly agreed to come by on Monday night and apply his superior skills and toolkit to the problem.

As long as I was down there, I vacuumed the rest of the basement and brought the new vacuum back upstairs where it would be available on Tuesday when the cleaning lady comes. The carpet looks much cleaner.

Later in the afternoon, daisy_knotwise and I took Katie and Julie to the pool and then to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner. It was a reasonably successful expedition. :)

And now, it's time to fall over...
