And I hope I'm right. It's been much too dry here. But the sky is very dark in the middle of the day for the first time in a long time. Keep your fingers crossed.
Yeah looking out my window... it looks more like a hurricane than your typical MW summer thunderstorm. Guessing I'm not going to need to water the lawn tonight.
Yup. The sky opened up as we had just left the park center (near the Picnicon site) to bike home. We turned around and returned to the park center, by which time we were all soaked the the skin. When the rain let up, I rode home and returned with the van for the bikes, E, R, and M. Now, we're off to what was supposed to have been a pool party and then to the Schaumburg Flyers game. The rain couldn't have waited until tomorrow...
I hope some of the rain we've been getting here will head your way. We've had quite enough, here. People are watching the rivers rather anxiously in this part of the world.
