We joined Sam, Bonnie, Jerry, Eric, and Mike at the Museum of Science and Industry today to see the Harry Potter traveling exhibit. It was nicely done and certainly a chance to examine a number of the props close up. And as I observed to Sam, they apparently hadn't printed a textbook in that universe since 1925 or thereabouts, just from looking at the covers. :)

Julie had a brief meltdown during the Potter exhibit, but otherwise things went well. Katie was fascinated by the Foucault pendulum, the Fairy Castle, the big John Deere tractor (that she got to sit in), and the cable car and trains. We'd have stayed longer, but Julie was good and ready for her nap, so we headed out early.

Dinner was quesadillas and salad, followed by some strawberry shortcake, as strawberries are currently available at an excellent price.

And now it's time for little girls to go to bed. :)
