Just a Bit Warm Here

daisy_knotwise, jeff_duntemann, Carol, Katie, and Julie and I noticed that the house was a bit warm. Apparently, the air conditioner was doing a fine job of running, but no job at all of cooling.
Since the fan was running and no cold air was coming out, the conclusion is that the compressor is not a happy beastie. We've called our heating and cooling guy -- the husband of one of Gretchen's former co-workers -- and he'll come by in the morning and look at it.
In the meantime, it's going to be a long, hot night.
