Digging a Hole (Again)

billroperI have once again latched onto one of those projects at work that looks like it ought to be simple -- and indeed it would be, if only the right infrastructure were in place. I just need to rebuild the underlying infrastructure so that it operates in a more general way.
This is somewhat akin to "just adding another lane to the Tri-State Tollway so we can handle the traffic flow".
I will finish this eventually, but I keep finding new things that need to be tweaked.
