billroperDr. Bob gave me samples of a new medication last week, but due to general chaos and GAFilk, I just started taking it today. It's an twice-a-day injectable for Type II diabetics called Byetta. It should help keep my blood sugar under control and make it easier for me to try to lose some weight. (Modulo actual difficult things like diet and exercise, but the problem was that the meds I've been on make the weight awfully resistant to changes in diet and exercise.)
We'll see how things go. Did I mention that I hate needles?
