Hurricane Epsilon

Well, Epsilon has defied predictions and intensified to hurricane status, making it the sixth recorded instance of a December hurricane. There's a nice picture here on Jeff Masters' blog where he notes that there's about a 40% chance that we'll see Tropical Storm Zeta materialize next week in the Caribbean.
