billroperDespite a scare, the Cards beat the Padres in Game 1 of the NLDS today. Interestingly, one of the Microsofties at today's lab is from St. Louis. His father is working on the sprinkler system for the new Busch Stadium and is promising that he's going to retire just as soon as he finishes.
(Having an Internet connection meant I could keep an eye on the score as the game progressed. The White Sox also won. So far, so good.)
