Oh, good grief. Who on my friends list hasn't done this by now?
We're back from Ishercon, where we had a good time at Amy and Tullio's annual New Year's Eve party.
Success! Phil has braved the traffic around London and collected Gretchen and me from Heathrow.
Jack Ryan, candidate for the Republican senatorial nomination from Illinois, is being pressed to open the sealed proceedings of his divorce from Jeri Ryan, better known as "Seven of Nine" on Star Trek: Voyager.
Monday, we went to Opening Day of the 2004 Cubs baseball season.

ladyat and
bedlamhouse should be arriving here in Chicago in the next five hours or so for the weekend.
When I got married to Carol fifteen years ago, Rolf and Mary Wilson gave us a bookcase kit.
Apparently, the Noreascon committee is looking for folks who are here to blog about the con as it occurs.
And the Cubs continue their fast fade, losing their fourth in a row and dropping 1.5 games back in the wild card race in the NL. *gleep*
I had a fine time at OVFF, getting a chance to chat with friends -- although there were far more friends there than I could ever have enough time to chat with in a weekend!
