Windycon's Done

We're home from Windycon, which seems to have gone reasonably well. :)

I am happy to announce that I will be co-chairing Windycon 39 next year, working with the Windycon 38 Chair, Richard France. The theme of the convention will be Zombies.

I'm also happy to announce (as we let folks know at the convention) that next year's Author Guest of Honor is Campbell Award winner and 2011 Best Novel Hugo nominee, Seanan McGuire. (seanan_mcguire)

Our Filk Guest of Honor is the talented winner of the 2011 Pegasus Award for Best Performer, Amy McNally. (sweetmusic_27)

We're looking forward to having them both on board for 2012!

We'll be announcing more guests before too long -- keep an eye on the Windycon website for updates!

Congratulations. And if I may make a suggestion, Holly Black and Justine Larbalestier, the editors of Zombies Vs. Unicorns, might be a good choice for guests, even if they aren't THE Guests Of Honor.
