The Best Part of Waking Up

billroperYou know, it's just bad when two and a half hours in the dentist's chair is not the most annoying thing that's happened to you today.
I got to the dentist's office today at 9:30 AM. By a bit after noon, I had had the remains of old fillings removed from the offending tooth, a post installed to hold the new filling in place, the tooth prepared for the installation of the permanent crown, and a temporary crown installed for the week or so that it should take to make the permanent crown.

daisy_knotwise, Katie, and Julie for lunch at McDonald's, as it was Cleaning Lady Day and getting the girls out of the house was a Really Good IdeaTM. This was fine and much cute running around occurred. I left the rest of the family there and came home to work.
There, I spend five hours getting a particular release installed from ClearCase onto my machine. A release where the resource files do not actually compile.
I've sent an appropriately polite e-mail.
And now I'm going to Sweet Tomatoes for dinner, because after what we ate over the weekend, it's seriously time for some roughage.
