Dancing Queens (Redux)

So tonight I came upstairs to check something on the computer after Phineas and Ferb ended. Katie and Julie both followed me upstairs to the office and asked me to play the guitar. So I started into "Midnight Girl". And they'd dance for a chorus and a verse. And then they'd run off into the other room, so I'd hold the guitar in my lap and check the computer.

And then they'd come back. And I'd play a chorus and a verse and they'd dance. And then they'd run off into the other room.

About forty minutes later, we finally went downstairs and had some of the brownies that I'd put in the oven around 8:40 and that daisy_knotwise had taken out about 9:30.

Did I mention that Katie and Julie are inordinately fond of hot, fresh brownies?

Please explain this concept to me. The individual words all make sense, but put next to each other like this... nope, don't understand it. ;)

Well, isn't everybody? You know what's *even better?* Hot, fresh brownies with a scoop of peppermint ice cream on top.
