Hamburger Happy

The Five Guys at Randhurst showed up as "now open" when I checked their website this morning. I took advantage of this by heading up there for lunch.

It's more expensive and more food than I should have on most days, so I probably won't go there that often. But it certainly tasted good! :)

A Five Guys opened up here in Dayton last month. Been to it once. Was disappointed that I didn't have a choice of cheese, other than American. At the moment, I'm preferring the local Smashburger, which also opened up here last month.

I'm not really a big hamburger fan, but I never pass up a chance to eat at Five Guys. Their fries are wonderful, too.

No Smashburgers here in the DC area.

Fantastic! Still a little far for us, but closer than the one in Rogers Park.

I discovered them up at Madison at Wiscon last year and fell in love with them. The first time I went I ordered their regular burger and fries. Every time since, I've gotten the small burger and we get one order of fries to share among the four of us.

They just opened a "Five Guys" in the complex with the grocery store and the Home Despot. We haven't tried it yet, but probably will soon.

There's now a Five Guys in Southfield, right near my mother's apartment. I've eaten there once, and yeah, probably the best fast-food burger and fries I've had. I'm glad it's not closer.
