Allergies Again

I found out last night that I cannot have Sweet Baby Ray's Key Lime pie when I'm in an allergic state. *sigh* So the antihistamines remain my friend.

The really sad thing was when I stepped on the scale last night. It appears that I'm carrying around 10 to 15 pounds of excess water as a result of this.

Oh, joy.

Carrying around an extra 10 - 15 pounds all day is a pain, but at least it isn't real weight gain. But what on earth is an allergic state? Do you mean there are times you are apt to be allergic to anything or is it when you are already showing allergic symptoms? Or something else entirely?

Once I've been exposed to a sufficient level of sulfites, I become allergic to other things that don't normally bother me, such as chocolate or capsaicin. It's really annoying.
