There is nothing quite like contemplating the harmonies on the chorus and realizing that you are out of male voices, having shipped your perfectly good tenor off to Germany.

On the other hand, we have vocals down for Shades of Gray and New Frontier, so progress is being made.

I could lend you a pair of fivers.

Sad Truth of Choral Singing: there are never enough male voices. Especially good tenors. (As opposed to the ones who sing through their noses, I mean.)

So send us an MP3 and I'll send you a WAV back? :)

Which is why I trained as a tenor in high school. I had the range, and they only had three guys in the range.

Of course, all the guys wanted to be basses (because that meant they were manly {t'cha, right}), and the girls wanted to be sopranos. I snarked that it was because they were too lazy to follow anything but melody, and the director just rolled his eyes.

Someone once pointed out to me, that in all of Gilbert & Sullivan's work, it's the tenor who gets the girl. Can't get more "manly" than that, can you?

I'd offer to help... but sadly I'm a Baritone/Bass

I don't know... I always wanted to be a tenor. All the good parts are written for the tenor. The Baritones and the Bass get to sit there being well... the bass line.

I know, but after years of abuse, my voice is closer to a "bargain counter tenor" than anything else.

My timbre may not be suitable for what you want, but I sing tenor. (If you want a *better* tenor, maybe drop Emory a line?)

Ya know, I still have an ADAT... You *could* drop ship me a clone, and I can drop-ship it back. Say, three week turn around time.

Whaddaya say?

Lend me a tenor!

Or rather, lend *you* a tenor. Me. If you'd like...

I'd volunteer as well, but I only get up to a G. I guess that makes me a baritone.
