It sounds as though the main thing you need to do is stand back a little bit and catch your breath. Good luck doing so. I won't mind having a few "holidays" off to catch mine, for that matter -- although when medical transcriptionists get holiday time off, the work tends to get badly backlogged by the time we come back, as people keep on getting sick. Do your best, and have exactly the kind of holiday you want to have.

It's always a goal of mine to be able to take the week between Christmas and New Year's off, I find it helps me recenter. I never go anywhere, I just sit around my house and relax. My company allows us to purchase an extra week of vacation and that's where mine usually ends up being used.
