In my case -- weather permitting and it looks likely that it will -- I'll be hopping on a plane from Midway tomorrow. Then I'll spend Friday afternoon and Monday morning at the office out there and the weekend at Consonance.

I've used that trick a couple of times. I worked out of the Santa Clara office for a day before the San Jose SMOFCon, and a few months later I worked out of the Santa Clara office for 3 days before Westercon 64 (also in San Jose).

Of course, San Jose is a bit shorter of a flight for me than for you, making it not unreasonable to fly up and still put in a full day.
