Today's is Gretchen's and my 26th anniversary. This is not one of the big round numbers, but it is a number nevertheless, the product of two primes, and another year together, which is a good thing and not one that we would have bet on at some points in our lives.
Normally, we'd consider going out for dinner to celebrate, but that's pretty much right out. Thus, I have run out to Sam's Club and acquired two lovely steaks which will become acquainted with our grill in a few hours.
In the round numbers department, it *is* almost exactly 40 years since Gretchen and I met. And that is a substantially larger and impressively round number, so I thought I'd mention it too. :)
