Friends, Romans, Countrymen

I went down to Wrigley Field to watch tonight's Cubs / Cards game with assorted Romans. They had a better time than I did, given the outcome, but that's the way things work out. :)

On the way home on the bus, I checked my scorebook that I started about this time last year. The only team that I have seen the Cubs beat is the Cardinals, who they've defeated three out of four times.

*sigh*

They could beat someone else for a change...
