In the Swim
Jun. 1st, 2013 10:20 pmThe pool opened today. It was barely warm enough for the pool to be open, but since the forecast for the next several days was substantially colder, we headed over there today after
daisy_knotwise returned with Katie and Julie after their roller skating class.
It was a good thing we headed over fairly directly, because they had already decided to close at 5 PM instead of 7 PM due to lack of crowd. And by 4:30 PM it was getting cold and we kept trying to herd little girls to the exit. But Julie decided she wanted to swim a bit longer.
Until the rain started at 4:55 PM. And then we hustled into the locker room as the lightning detector went off.
But it was a brief shower, so we were able to get to the car a few minutes later without getting too wet.
We'll repeat this trip.
