Registering for Kindergarten

So today was the day that I took Katie over to register for kindergarten at the school next door to our house. Normally, that's a half-day program, but for a fee, Katie can be in a full-day program with a stronger curriculum that's associated with the program she's in now.

Katie is enthusiastic about this. We've put her on the list for it.

And we'll see how things are come fall. :)

Bits of Legionnaire Business

Among the members of the Legion of Substitute Proofreaders, we find Pedantic Lad. Although he is only an above average proofreader under normal circumstances, he has an uncanny ability to sniff out missing Oxford commas.

This makes him either incredibly useful or incredibly annoying, depending on which style guide you're using.
