Taking Care of Business

Today's the first day of working at home. I've handled a few problems and otherwise am continuing to unpack this mess as I try to figure out where to put things. I have theories. I just need to figure out how to execute them.

And the phone system that I was assured would be working by Monday morning isn't. I've reopened the trouble ticket.

On the other hand, the folks who were supposed to do so did finally come pick up the rest of our recycling -- augmented by the mass of stuff that I threw out this weekend. :)

I Can Haz Phone Service

They've gotten my VOIP phone service activated at the work end of things and everything seems to be working fine. The phone even rings the way it's supposed to. :)

I've emptied out the boxes and put the contents in their tentative locations.

Tomorrow, I'll start exploring the new normal around here.
