Meanwhile, Back In the Studio

It's amazing how much more sound you get on your recording when you turn on the stinking microphones. This was the last of my misadventures for the evening, which included a stuck microphone cable, a shorted out microphone, and a remote control with low batteries for which I need to go back and read the manual.

Other than that, we're all fine here. :)

Death and Taxes

In my continuing effort to close the books on ISFiC Press for 2008, I went back to it this evening. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to open the invoice file that I got from shsilver, so I've punted the inspection of that back to him.

I've now given Steven a list of the things I don't have. Since he wants this done as badly as I do, I suspect this won't take much longer.
