I didn't get out of work until after 7 PM tonight, which is an improvement over some of the nights last week, but not a lot under the circumstances. There's a new feature that they want put in the product which I started working on two weeks ago and got better than halfway done before customer problems blew up in our face and kept me overly occupied. Well, they'd quieted down on Monday, so I redesigned some of the internal messaging code we've been using, tossed a document out for comments, and eventually started coding.

About 3 PM today, they blew up again. But I was almost done with the new feature and really wanted to finish it before taking up the customer problems.

By the time "almost done" turned into "done", it was after 7 PM. This wouldn't be so bad, except that what I'm going to hear about tomorrow are the customer problems, not the fact that I finished this thing. *sigh*
