And They're Off!

The strange sound on "Nobody Calls" led us to discover that we'd mis-mixed Sally's drum kit on the song. So then we had to check every drum kit instance to see if we'd duplicated the error. There were no exact duplicates, but we ended up making adjustments to five songs. The good news is that we figured this out before sending the master.
Two songs changed in their reported length in the final version, one of them being "Nobody Calls" which in a mysterious case of synchronicity ended up being exactly 4:17.
