We saw all of them last night. All of the plays of William Shakespeare condensed down to a handy two-act play. It was like a very funny version of Cliff's Notes.

The play is called "The Compleat Wrks of Wllm Shkspr (abridged)". They take abridged seriously as they did all of the comedies in one sequence. The whole play is performed by three men and one woman who are kept *very* busy.

The entire second act is devoted to Hamlet and is a good bit funnier than the Harold H. Hecubah version, although it's *not* a musical.

We leave for Torcon on Tuesday. You'd think we'd be better prepared for going to Worldcon by now. Ha!

As I type, I'm formatting ADAT tapes in the basement so that I can make copies of the masters for "Seven Miles a Second" to take with me along with the recording gear. (Backups. Backups are *good*.) Then I have to copy each of the four master tapes. Total time required: on the order of six hours, although mostly untended.

I also want to remix the current scratch tracks, adjusting the EQ, lowering the bass levels, and adding some reverb so that we can listen to it on the trip. That's going to take about half an hour per track. Total time required: about another six hours.

I'm not sure I have this many hours.

I also need to make sure that I've grabbed all the correct gear for sound reinforcement and recording -- some of which I'm using, some of which I'm loaning to Spencer for the con's use.

Gretchen is doing a lifetime supply of laundry while this is going on. And occasionally, I'll shout, "Hey, how does this sound?" before committing a mix to WaveLab.

This would all be simpler if we weren't having a SpaceTime Theater meeting over dinner out in Aurora. :)
