Louie and I will be sending you a check -- not a large one and probably not right away, but yes. Do you want it made out to Bill Roper, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, or what? Also -- for all that I take this very seriously and support your walk -- can you explain to me what a cash donation to the AFSP will actually be used for, and is it likely actually to make a difference (in regards to preventing even one person from taking his or her life)? I would appreciate serious answers to this, as I feel the need to believe that *something* would make a difference!
