Bad Cubs! No Playoffs!

I wandered down to Wrigley Field today to watch the Cubs/Mets game, meeting the Donats there. Sadly, Carlos Zambrano melted down completely under a barrage of singles (and the occasional triple), going 3 1/3 innings and giving up four runs. Since the Cubs only scored one run, four runs were more than enough to produce another Cub loss.

Now, the good news from my point of view is that the Cardinals are now up by ten games in the Central. :)

But the Cubs have morphed into a pretty ugly team this year.
