The End of an Era

billroperWhen Hyperion bought Alcar, our original hire dates at Alcar became our Hyperion service dates. Thus, on June 23rd, I passed my 25th anniversary at this job.
As of the end of today, I'll be moved over to Oracle with a new hire date of 7/1/07. It's the same job and the same seniority that I had for benefit calculations.
But somehow, it's not the same.
