daisy_knotwise made dinner for tarkrai and me, after which the four of us (counting Katie) adjourned to The Cheesecake Factory where I got the piece of Godiva Chocolate Cheesecake that I've been thinking of for several days. (I blame catalana. :) ) After that, we came home and headed down to the studio where Steve showed me some of the things that he wanted to do with his album, which he brought me the almost complete master tapes for. More conversation followed upstairs while waiting for Katie to fall asleep, but then exhaustion won for all of us.
We were up early this morning so I could go to work and Steve could go to his local bank. They met me for a very early lunch at Hot Dog Island (where Linda, one of the owners, got to meet Katie), after which Gretchen dropped Steve off to catch the noon train to Kalamazoo and went home, while I headed back to work.
Visiting at the speed of sound, I think. :)
