Karres

I am feeling like I have done enough work today and am strongly considering spending the evening watching the Cards-Dodgers game on TV, starting to read the I've-been-waiting-to-read-this-for-25-years sequel to "The Witches of Karres", and spending some time with my lovely bride.

This may be too much multitasking. We'll see.

When you reach the end of the book, I'd like to know two things: (1) is it good, compared to Witches, and (2) (assuming 1) will I be hopelessly confused if I don't re-read Witches before I jump in, given that it's been quite a good while since I read it.

Oh, and I would not like to know any spoilers about it, unless it turns out to be so abominably bad that you are honor bound to do whatever you can to keep anyone else from reading it.

As for the multi-tasking level -- I would say it's too high, but you and Gretchen have to work out your own answer to the question.

Spencer bought the book, read it in one sitting (overnight...) and then found The Witches of Karres and told me I had to read it *first.*

Both books are in my too-be-read pile, after the latest Anita Blake and the N4 Pratchett book (which I am almost finished.)
