Once In Every 102 Years

The Cubs and the White Sox are both in the postseason.

Cool!

I'm rooting for Chicago on being in the series... (And I am dealing with no local post season for the first time since 1993.)

Maybe they're right about the Rapture and the Apocalypse.....

So what would we call that? An 'el' series?

It would be called the two weeks Chicago Went Mad. You'd see political types who didn't care about an election. You'd see nothing whatsoever get done. You'd see the city go nuts.

How about "The Red Line Rivalry"? My guess is everyone would refer to it as the Crosstown Series, since the games they play in the regular season are called that.

I like that. NY has the subway series and LA the freeway series, neither uses the term 'crosstown.'

What is the likelihood that both will make it to the World Series?

My Reds are out of it, so I might as well root for the Cubs. :-)

25% in each league. It would be nice to see the Cubs win it for once.

The world might end, or something.
