Writing Session

I'm one of the founding members of SpaceTime Theater, Chicago's favorite non-resident SF theater group. (Most of our shows are out-of-state, hence the non-resident bit.) We'll be doing a show for ConClave in Lansing, Michigan in October, which means we need some new material, which means it was time to get together and do a bit of writing.

We have a number of bit ideas that are now sitting scrawled on a whiteboard and about 1.5 completed sketches. Sam and I went upstairs and put one idea together, while the rest of the group worked on drafting the other.

Ok, another 4.5 sketches to go.

Thanks! The Capricon show was all improv; the show for Clave will be about half scripted and half improv, so it's a bit different beast.

ConClave happens to be in my home town of Lansing, Michigan :-) Also home of a fabulous music store Elderly Instruments (www.elderly.com, I think).

I'll be doing a children's concert and helping out with some programming . . .

Oh, I know ...
Frankly, I have never thought of going alone. The original idea came from Yooh who is a big Tanya Huff fan. So, she brought it up and we thought, hey, we could do a "two-con-trip". It's all still very much up in the air, but IF I go to Conclave, then it will be together with Yooh. If she doesn't go, I'll just be at OVFF.
Nevertheless, things like your announced sketches *do* make it more tempting ;-)
