Eureka!

The Cards broke an eight game losing streak today as they gave up three runs in the top of the eighth, but then scored two in the bottom of the ninth on two Cleveland errors to beat the Indians 5-4.

In other news, the Cubs broke their home losing streak today, scoring five in the bottom of the eighth to beat the Brewers 6-3. The Sox also won, beating the Pirates 4-3, and I suspect that the Tigers may never lose again, as they beat the Astros today 5-0.

And those are your baseball updates for tonight...

grumble, grumble, grumble... thought I was safe when I went to bed last night. I was really looking forward to highlighting a sweep :(

We in Detroit are keeping VERY quiet. We don't want to spook them.

But come on, it's the Tigers. They'll find SOME WAY to mess this up!

Remembering that it was only three years ago that the Tigers couldn't win (2003 they finished 43-119), I'm not going to complain.
