Pizza Roulette

daisy_knotwise and I tried out Armando's Pizza tonight for dinner. The crust was good, the sauce a bit skimpy (but if we hadn't tried a pizza with extra cheese, maybe that would have been better). The large pizza was enormous and about half of it is currently in our fridge.

We'll probably try them again, but in a pan or stuffed version instead of thin crust next time.

I will refrain from contributing to this discussion... since really who wants to hear me rant about NY Pizza vs. Chicago Pizza yet again. :) But on a related topic... I used to think Sauce was the most important part of the pizza until I moved to St. Louis... and made the mistake of ordering a St. Louis style pizza at Imo's. Now I know the cheese is the most important part.

Just another atypical pizza. :) I avoid California Pizza Kitchen for similar reasons. "You put what on my pizza?"

I've had some pretty good barbecue-style pizzas with cheddar on them. But they're not typical pizza...
