It Lives!

Success! I have hooked up the Project Mix I/O to Cubase SX and have recorded a scratch track, a guitar track, and a vocal track, monitoring through the new interface.

Now I just need to learn how to use it. :)

I suppose Link is just too horribly obvious...

Quick question on using the ProjectMix and Cubase SX.

Bill,
I am looking into picking up a ProjectMix I/O soon, and I just had a couple of questions on it before I buy.

1. Do the LED displays for the rotary encoders work in Cubase SX? In other words, does it display the parameter name the knob controls?

2. What all was involved in getting the control surface portion working in Cubase SX? What template did you use, and did you have to do any kind of firmware update to get it to work?

The biggest reason I'm so interested in this is becuase I'm looking for an audio interface/control surface that I can use both at home in the studio, and on the road connected to my laptop. The Project Mix I/O seems ideal for this, but I want to make sure of a few things before dishing out around $1,300 for it...

Thanks in advance,
Mike H.
