I won another ADAT XT-20 on eBay, so I now have enough parts to build a second remote recording system. The first ADAT has already arrived and is busily formatting a tape in the next room so I can check and make sure it's working ok.

Ok, it's one thing to lose. It's another thing when your catcher punches out the opposing catcher after a play at the plate.

If I were Ozzie, I'd still be wondering why Pierzynski got thrown out of the game.

Bad Mexican Food News

Our favorite local Mexican restaurant, Taqueria Fiesta, is closing next Saturday. Apparently, the owner of the building has sold it out from under them so they can build another bank on the site. That'll be the eighth one on Elmhurst Road between Oakton and Golf.

Frankly, I found the place much more useful as a Mexican restaurant.
