Yahoo!

I have checked in the code on the last bug in my box. I have added the last feature to Debt Scheduler for this release.

Code Freeze is tomorrow.

Friday night, I leave on vacation.

(This is what we call "Cutting It Close (TM)".)

The Importance of Literacy

When carrying a protest sign, it's important to know what it says, especially if it's written in a language not your own.

Reputedly, the signs in this picture were helpfully translated into English by a retired U.S. Army Sergeant. If true, I hope that he left the area before they found out what the signs actually said.

If not true, well, it's an amusing round of Photoshopping. Snopes says they're fake, so...

(I thought those stencils looked too good.)

The Things You Find On Snopes

[livejournal.com profile] w3woody recently posted about Hardee's larger-than-you-should-eat Monster Burger.

Of course, that's nothing as compared to this six-pound-bigger-than-your-head-what-in-the-name-of-God-were-you-thinking burger.

I suppose I should browse Snopes more often, for the amusement value if nothing else.
