Frank Kelly Freas

Kelly died this morning at 4:45 AM. The reliable Mark Evanier provides a brief obituary.

He was a helluva nice guy.

I was glad I got to meet him at WindyCon several years ago. A true gentleman, and a keen sense of humor.

(And I still wish we had sent him in to crash the Bar Mitzvah that was using the function space that Saturday that the hotel had mistakenly given to the party: he was the only person at the convention dressed formally enough to fit in.)
